Ojos de Caburgua
The Ojos de Caburgua (Eyes of Caburgua) is a spectacular round pool fed by waterfalls from three sides. The water comes underground from Lake Caburgua, which is 8 km away. There's also a Blue Lagoon with amazingly blue water. The Ojos de Caburgua is the right spot to spend a couple of hours relaxing and swimming in the crystal clear but ice cold water.
Lake Caburgua
You can hike 5 km along the mainroad or take the bus to the beautiful Lake Caburgua, with huge beaches, boat rentals, restaurants and a grocery store. It's pretty crowded during the main season and on long weekends, but almost deserted the rest of the year.
Getting there
Take a minibus to Pucón, there's a bus every 30 minutes to Caburgua from there.
By car it's a 45 minute's drive to the Ojos de Caburgua (45 km). Go past Pucón towards Lake Caburgua, at the El Cristo crossing (km 45) take the gravel road to the left and follow the signs to the Ojos de Caburgua.
