Mountainbiking - Cerro Voipir
This medium-level mountainbike ride leads around Cerro Voipir. It's a hilly and rough ride off the beaten track- one of my favourites! See small farms, beautiful landscape and get a glimpse of Chile's rural farm life.
Route description
Take the gravel road opposite the airfield and follow the road along the foot of Cerro Voipir. A large part of this hill is owned by the Austrian Weber-family who settled here in the 1920's. They were among the first to plant Douglas Pines in the area. Passing the rural school at Relun, the road becomes small and hilly, reaching the highest point in Boquipulli Alto. The last part from Ñancul is flat with fine views of the volcano.
