Living a normal everyday life, Claudia and Beat Zbinden married in August 1993. One month later, after having sold all theire belongings, they left for the big trip. Two and a half years on the road is a long time and so they got tired of biking. But they liked Villarrica, the place where they had stopped. Instead of going back to Switzerland they decided to settle down in the Chilean Lake District.
